So OK. By themselves these are just two everyday words. Used together, they seem kind of odd. When I was trying to come up with a domain name for this website, I wanted it to be a true reflection of myself and the content it will contain.

I am crafty.

I am a curmudgeon.

Welcome to the Crafty Curmudgeon.

This website will be a small clearinghouse for things that I have created, things that I like, my opinions on certain subjects, and anything else that might amuse or give me mild enjoyment. I am by no means an expert in any of the things I do and I won’t pretend to be. I am however, as they said in the old days, “A Jack of All Trades, and master of none”.  Regardless, this will be like a mini ‘Joe’ museum displaying and sharing my distilled interests.

I feel it is only fair to warn you that I can tend to be a little gruff and on occasion, might let a little ‘blue’ language sneak into areas of the museum. I’ve had  enough of our politically correct society to last about ten lifetimes so I see not practical purpose to filter my thoughts.

I may not smile much, might not even say much, but for the most part, I am generally harmless. (Notice how I said ‘generally”)
