Attack of the Easter Eggs

Well, I finished another experiment and I am pretty happy with how it turned out.  These eggs cost next to nothing to make and you can use them year after year for your Easter decorations.

The eggs are obviously not real…..I got several dozen at Walmart for 1.98 a dozen and the acrylic paint can be had for 50 cents a bottle if you look hard enough. a paint brush about a half inch wide and a can of polyurethane (about $14 bucks a quart….but it makes about a bajillion eggs) is all you need to create these nice little additions to your Easter arsenal.

You may have noticed that I did adorn some of these with flower and ‘fancy dot’ stickers…..and even used some temporary tattoo paper to create the extra fun Pittsburgh Penguins hockey eggs. (I wonder if anyone has ever made hockey easter eggs before?)

I hope you like these simple little eggs.
